Billie Muraben is a writer, curator, and editorial consultant based in London. She is Editor of interiors magazine, TON. Her features and essays on design, culture, and spatial spectacle have appeared in publications including Aperture, Pin Up, Port, Tank, and The World of Interiors, as well as contributing to exhibition titles and catalogues raisonnés. She is co-author of ‘Dope and Diamonds: A Lana Del Rey Reader’, and author of ‘Eau! A brief history of tricksy water from Vegas to Versailles’, both published by Chateau International. She curated the Design and Crafts Council Ireland’s stand at Collect, 2023, and co-curated the 5th Istanbul Design Biennial. She is co-editor of the accompanying book 'Empathy Revisited: Designs for more than one', for which she also contributed the essay 'Ceremony, Gestures, and Improvisations', on bricolage design practices in Turkey. Billie consults on editorial content and strategy for brands and organisations, including COS, MolteniC, Schloss Hollenegg for Design, and Selfridges.
